Crop Friday, June 17, 2011

Charlie is feeling great, still trying to behave himself and not overdoing. He is working on his Army Scrapbook it is something that keeps his hands busy. As we all know each of us has a story to tell and there is no one who can tell it like we can.

Although the store will be closed until at least 4:30 (Dr. appointment) we will have a crop this Friday night, from 5 until Midnight. Please call 1-417-358-5400 to reserve you spot, please leave your name and how many is in your party.

Crop is $5.00 and if you eat, we ask for a small donation. I'm fixing Taco Salad for dinner, still undecided on dessert, but I promise it will be yummy.

I have gotten in over 40 (forty) new papers, plus stickers, new metal and a lot more.

All the proceeds from the crop, plus over half of the merchandise in the store will be going to Helping Hands and Mending Hearts, check out my new blogspot if you haven't had a chance, http://helpinghandsscrapbookers.blogspot.com , everyone knows my computer skills are limited, so if you have any suggestions to make it better, please let me know.

If you have extra scrapbook supplies or crafting supplies you would like to donate, give me a call. If you know someone who has lost their things, please send them our way, they will get a nice supply of new product at no charge to them.

Attention All Scrapbookers, Let's Help

May 2011

Attention All Scrapbookers:

Sometimes doing a little thing during a crisis is enough to help brighten a persons day or to make a difference to just one person.

Although most of the people in the area who lost so much are thinking about the big things right now, and will continue to in the next few weeks and months. Someday things will slow down and lives will begin to rebuild. The people of this area who have been through these storms will never be the same, we know that with the help of God, family and friends we will make it through these difficult times.

Show Me Scrapbooking is setting up a large area in the store to help anyone who may have lost their scrapbook supplies due to the tornado. If anyone who was directly effected by the tornados wants to start a memory album, please come in and get started, these supplies will be free of charge, we will be doing this on an honor system. (Some limits may apply)

Sometimes scrapbooking can be very healing therapy.

We have already started giving out some things, we will be donating a large portion of our product and we have heard from several companies and individuals who will be donating supplies. If you have things you wish to donate please bring them or send them to the store at 2105 Hazel Ave in Carthage our phone number is 417-358-5400 my home phone is 417-358-8026, if there is no answer please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please remember we will not be charging for these supplies.

We will also be making up some kits in the near future. The proceeds from the kits and from the Friday Night Crops will be going to help tornado victims in this area.

Now is the time for us to unite, perhaps just as one person or one small business we won’t be able to make a very big difference but if we pull together with love and kindness, we may be able to make a difference in many peoples lives.

Thank You and God Bless You,

Charles and Michell Dunlap
